By placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

1. Products

We supply Woodsure-approved kiln-dried firewood, kindling, and firelighters.

Moisture content for kiln-dried logs is below 20%.

As firewood is a natural product, log size, shape, and appearance may vary.

2. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed on our website.

• Orders under £89.95 include a £10 delivery fee.

• Payments are taken securely through trusted payment providers.

• Orders must be paid in full before delivery.

3. Delivery

Free delivery radius:

All orders £89.95+ include free delivery within 23 km of our location.

Delivery access requirements:

• Minimum access gap: 1.2m for a sack truck

• Safe, clear access required

• Customers do not need to be home if instructions are provided

If access is blocked or unsafe, we may need to rearrange the delivery and a reattempt fee may apply.

4. Stacking

Stacking is included free of charge.
However, it is the customer’s responsibility to:

• Provide a safe, dry, well-ventilated storage area

• Ensure the storage location is free from hazards

• Ensure wood is kept off the ground and protected from weather

We are not liable for any deterioration that occurs after delivery.

5. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted only if nets are unused, unopened, and returned within 14 days.

Refunds may be given if:

• Logs are proven faulty (e.g., moisture above 20%)

• The wrong product was delivered

• A genuine error is made by us

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.

Delivery fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

We cannot accept returns of opened, used, or weather-exposed firewood.

6. Customer Responsibilities

By ordering, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery instructions

• Ensure access is safe and suitable

• Store firewood responsibly after delivery

• Keep children/pets away during stacking

• Understand that burn performance varies by stove and setup

We are not responsible for firewood performance caused by:

• Damp storage

• Poor airflow

• Incorrect stove operation

• Chimney issues

7. Liability

We are not liable for:

• Damage caused by poor storage conditions

• Any loss resulting from late or delayed delivery

• Firewood performance differences

• External factors such as weather, access issues, or customer instructions

Our liability is limited to the cost of the goods purchased.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before your delivery has been loaded onto the van.

If cancelled after loading, a small restocking/admin fee may apply to cover time/fuel.

Orders under £89.95 include a small delivery charge:

For larger top-ups, we recommend bundling kindling or firelighters to reach free delivery.

⭐ Delivery Days & Time Slots

We deliver throughout the week, including evenings and weekends.

We will always:

• Contact you with an estimated delivery time

• Work around you where possible

During busy periods (autumn/winter), delivery slots can fill quickly — ordering early is recommended.

⭐ Do I Need to Be Home?

Not necessarily!

If you're not home, we can deliver as long as:

• The access is safe

• We have clear instructions

• There is enough space to stack the logs

We just need:

• A safe place to leave/stack

• Any gate codes (if applicable)

• A clear description of where you’d like the delivery

We always appreciate a hello if you're in — but it's not required.

⭐ Access Requirements

To ensure safe and smooth delivery, we need:

➡️ At least 1.2 metres of clear access

This is to allow our sack truck to get through comfortably.

➡️ Solid ground where possible

Gravel, grass, slopes, and steps are fine — but please let us know in advance if access is difficult.

➡️ Safe delivery conditions

We may need to rearrange delivery during extreme weather or unsafe conditions.

⭐ Free Stacking Service

All local deliveries include free stacking, so your logs are placed neatly where you want them.

To help us stack efficiently:

• Ensure the area is clear before we arrive

• Please make sure storage areas are safe, dry, and well-ventilated

• Logs should be stored off the ground (pallets are ideal)

• Cover the top only, leaving the sides open for airflow

Once stacked where instructed, the wood becomes the customer’s responsibility.

⭐ Failed Delivery Attempts

A delivery may not be completed if:

• Access is blocked or unsafe

• Instructions weren’t provided and no one is home

• The storage area is not suitable or unsafe

• The location is outside the agreed radius without prior arrangement

In these cases, we may need to rearrange delivery — and a small redelivery fee may apply depending on distance.

⭐ Storing Your Firewood

To get the best performance from your kiln-dried logs:

• Keep them dry, covered, and well-ventilated

• Store off the ground

• Do not cover the sides of your stack (it traps moisture)

• Use a pallet or raised base if storing outside

We are not responsible for any deterioration caused by incorrect storage post-delivery.
